Forge Motorsport Blow Off Valve for the Ford Fiesta ST MK8/Ford Puma ST
Forge have developed the perfect dump valve solution for the Fiesta ST MK8 and Ford Puma ST, two vehicles that Ford launched without an OEM valve included.
Similar to our early days when Ford released the RS turbo Escort, Forge developed and lead dump valve technology to give the Escort owners the same technology as Cosworth did for the Sierra - with loud whooshes and prolonged turbocharger life, this really is one the favourite modifications for the Ford enthusiasts must have bolt on products.
As the engine does not have a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge have developed a twin piston dump valve that not only gives you an incredibly loud sound when lifting off the throttle but also increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it could cause premature failure, especially on tuned engines and modified vehicles.
